A Low-Budget Horror Logline

I’m working towards developing a full pitch document for a feature length low-budget horror screenplay. The first step in this process is to write the logline.

Here are three variations on my logline – any thoughts on which is best or how to develop it further?

Version 1

An actor, famous for his role in a 1980s creature-feature, finds his hoped-for future career as a more serious actor – and his life – in danger when supernatural forces start attacking him and those around him.

Version 2

Struggling to break in to more serious roles, an actor famous only for a 1980s creature-feature finds his future career – and his life – in danger when supernatural forces attack him and those around him. He finds lessons from his past are the only way he’ll have a future.

Version 3

Famous for his role in a 1980s creature-feature, an actor struggles to break in to more serious roles. When supernatural forces attack him and those around him, he finds that only by revisiting that role will he be able to save his future career – and his life.
